I’ve been very busy so far this Spring so I thought it was about time I posted an update!
Back in April, Goodnight Boutique travelled down to London to have a stall at Renegade Craft Fair at the Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane. It was a very busy, exhausting weekend, but it was so nice to see all the fabulous stalls and creations from the other crafters, and getting to meet a completely new set of customers (this was my first ever fair in London!).
I naturally had to do a spot of shopping whilst I was there. Here’s what I picked up; 2 x lovely London themed postcards from my next-door-stall-neighbour Emma Margaret Illustration, 1 x very funny card from Jo Clark design of a cat dressed up as a chicken, 2 x penguin cards, one from Jimbobart and one from Inkonk, and 2 x pretty pencils and a mini Clangers card from Oh Squirrel.
If you follow my Facebook page or my Twitter you’ll have seen that I’ve announced a few changes coming to my Etsy shop. By the end of this Summer I’ll have taken down all of my old style jewellery as I want to bring my Etsy in line with the rest of the business, which is now firmly illustration-based. I’ll still be selling jewellery via Etsy, but it will be pieces featuring my own designs and drawings. You can already see a selection of this on Etsy and I’ll be adding more over the coming weeks.
I’m going to be holding a series of sales to clear out any left-over old stock so keep a watchful eye on my Facebook and Twitter. At the moment all my stud earrings are on sale, £1 per pair, so be sure to take a look!
This week I had to submit all my Christmas 2015 items (I know it’s only May!) and I’m really excited to share with you what I’ve created this year. I’ll post a Christmas preview blog over the Summer so remember to check back! I also managed to fit in a lovely afternoon tea at Cherry Blossom Bakery, my favourite place for tea and cake in Macclesfield!
What have you been up to so far this Spring?
