Yesterday I went to Blackpool to sell – and sing – at the Truly Scrumptious Vintage Fair, held in the Winter Gardens.
It was a really spectacular venue, with stalls lining an old Victorian Pavilion and filling a gorgeously vintage theatre, complete with high ceilings and red velvet drapes.
Although it was a weekend event, I only attended on the Saturday. Luckily the rain held off, and we had a steady stream of visitors all day. There were over 100 stalls, with almost every sort of handmade and vintage you could ever hope to look for; plenty of clothes, jewellery, supplies, shoes and even art that was drawn before the customers very eyes.
Goodnight Boutique had a massive table, and it was really nice to have more space to utilise. I had been making plenty of new stock during the week, including a new set of charm bracelets, and lots of vintage bunting!
Also, my new ring tray had its first outing. I handmade it myself, and will post a tutorial on how to make your own, very soon…
Throughout the day live entertainment took place on stage in the theatre. My band were one such act, and you can read about the day from that point of view, here.
It’s Handmade Monday again! Have a read for some wonderful craft blogs!
