Yesterday Goodnight Boutique went to The Old Brown Jug in Newcastle-Under Lyme to sell at Throwbackfridays Vintage Fayre.
It was only my fourth Vintage and Handmade fair but I’ve got a lot more in the lead up to Christmas.
All proceeds at the door were for the Ben Howard Cancer Appeal, so hopefully we raised a lot of money for charity.
One of my fellow traders that I particularly noticed – I even went as far as to buy a cute pair of earrings, which has been banned since I started making my own jewellery – was Jelly Button Jewellery. I really loved the presentation of their stall, their business cards (which were simple yet pretty) and their wonderful jewellery. The earrings I chose were some mini playing cards to match a ring I already own.
You should have a look at their site.
As per usual I had to check-out the Cupcakes that were on offer. I had a vanilla one, topped with purple icing and flowers.
I also had a tea from the bar and it was massive. I mean – Really. Massive.
As for my outfit I wore a grey and black, houndstooth pencil skirt, with a white top and a vintage red, white and blue scarf that I picked up from the Macclesfield Make Do & Mend Fair back in August. I also wore a pair of navy courts with little bows!
